The actor Surya is none other than the son of Mr. Siva Kumar who was one of the best actors during the 1980’s. Even though the beginning career of Surya was with a lack of successful films like Poovellaamkettuppar, Uyirileykalandhadhu, Periyanna, etc., and then Surya came back with few hit movies like Nerukkunaer and Friends.
