Story:

The movie starts in Nagercoil that 3 men kill the parents of Bhavani ( Vijay Sethupathy has done the Bhavani character and Master Mahendran has done the young Bhavani character ). When those 3 men trying to kill Bhavani, he is requesting them to spare me alive and he will do anything for them. 

But they put him in Observation Home ( Jail for young persons below 18 years of age ). After experiencing tortures in the jail, Bhavani escapes from jail. Then Bhavani starts working under Arun Alexander who is one of those 3 who killed his parents. After a few years, Bhavani becomes one of the best businessmen in Nagarcoil who exports meat and doing Lorry Transport Services. 

One day when Bhavani goes to pay his due money to Arun Alexandar and another man who took part in the death of Bhavani's parent's death, the two men plan to kill Bhavani but Bhavani uses his intelligence and kill them both on that spot. Then he uses children from the observation home to surrender to the police instead of him and get punishment for the murders did by Bhavani. 

On hearing all these as rumour, a government official is urging the management of Observation home to arrange for a good Teacher for the observation home as soon as possible. 

With this background, on the other hand, Vijay is a professor in a college in Chennai and doing welfare activities to the college students like helping them in studies and fighting for them against the management of the college for students. 

At a point of time, Vijay agrees to the management of the college to leave the college by resigning his job if any problem happens in a student's election conducted by Vijay.
