Born in a family of musicians in Tollygunge, West Bengal in 1993 Tamil film actress Meghali was an avid film watcher since her childhood. While watching Kamalhasan's Hindi film Sadma she had developed a passion for acting. From that day Tamil actress Meghali had set her heart on the Kollywood film Industry.
Meghali had her schooling in C.N.I School. Calcutta. She did her graduation from the British Council and Rabindra Bharati University.
Having set her eyes on the Tamil film Industry Meghali took to modelling and worked in many Television advertisement and commercials.The Tamil film Industry spotted her in one of the soaps and Tamil film director Vijay Chander offered Tamil actress Meghali her first role in the film Sketch ( Meghali debut film )
Noted Tamil Lyricist/ actor/ director PA. Vijay gave Meghali a bigger break as the heroine of his film Aarudhra..He had also acted as the Hero besides directing the movie. Meghali's performance in both the films made her busy and she got quite a few offers in Kollywood and a Bengali film too..
Ace Tamil director Kasthuri Raja offered Meghali the role of her life in his film Pandi Muni opposite veteran actor Jackie Shroff. This film is based on the real life incident that had happened some seven decades ago at a palace in a forest. Tamil actors Vaishnavi, Yashika are also in the cast.
So Panakudi Palace in the interior of Kotagiri Hills was chosen as the shooting spot The palace was situated near a 700 year old cave temple. After the first day shoot strage things happened for Tamil actress Meghali. Suddenly she started singing. dancing, advising people and predicting the events that would take place in the future. At one point of time she not only became uncontrollable but unbearable.The elders in the village then told that women should not go near the temple and men too should not go with their slippers..Since the above customs were not followed during the shooting of the film they believed that the Godess was very furious and had to be appeased with meaningful rituals. So priests were invited to perform poojas to mend the wrongs after which Tamil actress Meghali returned to normal .Shooting commenced the very next day but in a different location.
Tamil film director Maha booked Meghali for the film Ragadam where Tamil actress Meghali plays a double role. She is also acting in Bengali film based on the Nirbhayas real life incident that shocked and shook the entire Nation in the night of 2012 in the capital of India.
With her talent, passion, looks commitment and dedication Meghali is sure to rock Kollywood and become the next dream girl of Kollywood very soon.
