Watch Leo only in the theater to get the best movie-watching experience.
When you come out of the theater, it hinders you from looking into the whole LCU and where Leo character stands in it.
A combination of Lokesh, Anirudh, Anbariv, and Philomin Raj has given a good cinematic experience in each scene.

Positive things in Leo :
The fight scene of Leo and Elisa with Harold Das in a factory is picturized with stunning visuals, lighting, and music.

When we compare with the previous movies of Lokesh, this movie has some improvement in his direction in that he has started using many symbolic representations such as a nailed thrown drawing behind the head of Parthiban and wings behind the head of Antony das when they talk in a coffee shop.
This movie puts laughs and smiles on our faces when we watch it the second time, after knowing about the transformation of Parthiban.
A surprise casting in this movie is Madonna Sebastian who fits into the sister role well with her fitness and her previous roles in Tamil cinema. Even though it's a short role, it has impact and is stylish.
The participation of Lokesh in fight scenes with Anbariv is obvious. We have seen the work of Anbariv in movies like King of Kotha, but in Leo, the action scenes give us experiences like watching a localized Hollywood movie, at the same time not exceeding any logic ( the car chase of Antony Das by Parthiban can be mentioned as an example here ).
In an interview, Lokesh Kanagaraj said that he hates using ropes for action scenes in his movies, but in this movie, even though ropes have been used, they are not awkward.
In the car chase scene of Antony Das by Parthiban, the snowy night of Himachal Pradesh is captured and taken to the theater screen naturally. I don't remember any other Tamil movie that has done this in an action scene.
Another smart move in this movie is that it was not shown how Nepoleon gets injuries but he sits with a shotgun when Parthiban family gets in trouble towards climax as it is not needed. The reason for his injury is that he was sitting at the back in the Car chase scene earlier.
In the market fight scene, the camera follows a small hand shovel which is used as a weapon in the fight to give a different movie-watching experience.

What Parthiban would have done if his family had not been saved by Antony Das near the hospital by relations of Myskin character?
There is a scene when Nepolean explains his stands to Parthiban that he will work properly thereafter. The same thing has been shown visually in the scenes that come after those dialogues. When the Nepolean character proves his sincerity in action later on, there is no need for those dialogues.
The introduction of Hirudhaya Raj character done by Mansoor Ali Khan might have not had the leaf scene, as in reality, Lokesh has explained that in many interviews. The guys who know about the back story of the leaf with Mansoor, may feel this scene as a cliche.
I think the real-life son of Vijay ( Jason Sanjay ) may not get a better debut movie than Leo because this movie has a strong role for the son Parthiban character.
Animation is not perfect in some scenes, such as when Parthiban breaks wooden pieces to use them as weapons in the market fight,
The music is extraordinary in this movie, but as the direction particularly in this movie, there are many emotional scenes with high human feels hanging around, Lokesh may go for bigger musicians like
A R Rahman for movies like Leo.

Interesting ideas inside Leo movie:
When someone calls Joshy Andrews and alerts Parthiban to be careful before the Market fights, he says about an undercover operation inside the gangs of Shunmugam. If we imagine, how risky and raw will be that officer who is undercover in the midst of people who are with Shunmugam and doing business using Pigs.
The character of Antony Das is interesting in that he is a gangster, who believes in astrology as strong as to kill his own daughter for it.
Lokesh Kanagaraj things in Leo:
In the market fight, Parthiban uses tools available in the market like, a hand shovel. hammers as weapons to fight enemies.
Mansoor Ali Khan eats Biryani in the middle of Naan Ready dhan song.
Lokesh Kanagaraj Playlist has two more songs added to this movie namely, Karu Karu Karuppaayee song and Thaamarai Poovukum Thannikum song.
Acting excellence of Vijay in Leo:
The following are some of the scenes that have the potential for Vijay to express more of his acting excellence and he has used them well and good.
Vijay gives a very simple body language when the name of the sister of Leo is pronounced by the daughter of Parthiban in the scene when Parthiban family goes to adopt a Hyna ( Subramani ).
When he cries after shooting Shunmugam and his gang.
The crying scene of Parthiban in front of Sathya and at the same time consoling making
Aggressive facial reaction in a market fight after he cuts a sag and at the end of that fight.
When he catches the neck of a police officer in the police station, he shows the aggression that if the policeman does not agree to what Parthiban asks, then the chance for Leo to come out is high.
But still, I felt like some Vijayism is missing in the scene of his son throwing a spear at him inside the house, that some vibrating body language is missing but it has not given any negative impact on screen.
