Even though both, Gautham Karthik and Manjima Mohan have become familiar acting faces to Tamil cinema audiences within a few movies of them, they both acted together for the Tamil movie Thevarattam in the year 2019. While working on that movie, Gautham Karthik got attracted to Manjima Mohan and he proposed to her to marry him. 

When Gautham Karthik spoke for an interview, he said that he and Manjima Mohan have been friends for 1 year, and then, as he got attracted to the good character of Manjima Mohan, he has come forward first and proposed to her. For that, Manjima Mohan has said that she needs time to think about it. After a couple of days, she accepted the love proposal of Gautham Karthik. Then they were in love for 3 years. 

28 November 2022 is the date fixed for their marriage after the pare

nts of both of them have agreed to the marriage. 

The marriage of Gautham Karthik with Manjima Mohan has been planned to happen as a simple wedding.
