Pongal is first Festival release of a year and also that's a first festive release of year.Tamil Cinema industry always plans to release their movies in that Festive days.Producers Shows their interest to get good collections in long holidays but some low-budget movie producers can't produce in this times mainly because of leading heroes movies will competent in that times.Every one knows in 2014 Leading actors Ajith (Veeram) and Vijay (Jilla) release their movies at same day in pongal
race but only few knows no other movies were released at that time.
Theatres were occupied only by these two movies on one side this gave good profit to producers and distributors But theater owners some faced a loss during that time.Now nearly 6 movies are planning to release at pongal 2017. we can't say this is first time more than 5 movies are going to release movies but after many days this happens.Lets see what are movies are going to release this pongal.
