After the death of M.G.Ramachandran , Aiadmk political party broken in to two. One lead by Janaki Ramachandran Wife of late M.G.Ramachandran and other by J.Jayalalitha. After Janaki Ramachandran quit from politics J.Jayalalitha combines the party and gives life to followers and MGR devotees. In 1991 is the year when Jayalalitha became Chief Minister of TamilNadu for the first Time .

Before she became as a chief minister once she elected as M.L.A she was attacked by M.L.As of ruling party at that time in assembly hall as the statement she read was opposed by the ruling party as she was representing the opposing party in that time. On the day of getting attached in the year of 1989, Jayalalitha has came out of assembly with torn saree and that incident has made sympathy on her among the people. Not only that, Jalalalitha has faced so much of struggle in her life time. Even after she become powerful in her party she faced a Road accident and escaped with minor injuries.

The record she created by her in cinema industry is she was the only actress who had most number of silver jubilee films in Tamil cinema. Tamil Actress Selvi Jayalalitha was the only actress worked more number of movies with  M.G.Ramachandran. Not only in cinema in political career after she lead the party . Aiadmk crowns twice continuously ( 2011,2016) after M.G.Ramachandrans Lead . She lifted the ordinaryTamill nadu political party to Indias 3rd biggest party in 2014 legislative election that shown her power .
