Tamil Cinema in other name called as Kollywood is one of the most notable cinema industry in Indian cinema industries. Lot of movies , actors, actress, music directors, singers, directors etc are noticed all over india.

The release date of very first Tamil movie falls in the year of 1918 now Tamil Cinema crossed 98 years . In these years Kollywood faced so much of revolution in movies and technicians. On 60s there was 10 songs in each movie but later it reduced to 5 or below 5 songs some movies it may not need songs too. Mass scenes , hero introduction songs, climax fight sequence all were revolutions happens before in Kollywood.
Would you believe kollywood faced a revolution in 2012. Yes after several years new set of actors, actress, directors, music directors are going to rule Tamil Cinema Industry for some years . Before some years only heroes are used for business a movie and then music directors like  Music Director Ilayaraja made some business and then last some years directors like Director Bala, K S Ravi Kumar, Director A.R.Murugadoss etc too joins the club at present every one in the same club .

We all know directors will work as assistant directors for many years and then they will become a director but in 2012 Tamil Movie Director Balaji Mohan starts a new way . He started his career as short film director and got chance to direct his one of the short film Kadhalil Sodhapuvathu Epidi in feature film and got success. After then new trend started . So much of new directors come to Kollywood from Short film department. There are some noticeable directors like Pizza, Jigarthanda fame  Director Karthik Subburaj who is now most expecting director , Naduvula Konjam Pakatha Kaanom fame Tamil Movie Director Balaji Dharaneetharan, Soodhu Kavvum fame Nalan Kumarasamy Pannayarum Padminiyum Fame Arun gets appreciation from audiance. Now these directors gives a way to future short film directors to direct feautre movies.

Not only directors actors too noticed among audiance through short films. In that list most wanted actor of kollywood in recent times Tamil Actor Vijay Sethupathi . Even though Tamil Actor Vijay sethupathi Acted in feature movies he was noticed after he acted in short films. Now Vijay Sethupathi had a big fan follow up. Same like Vijay sethupathy, Tamil Actor Bobby Simha has also come from same team. Malayalam Movie Actor Nivin Pauly, Premam director Alphonse Puthran also from same line. Many actors directors now created a path through short films.

Some new talents also founded in 2012 in that way Tamil Movie Director Pa.Ranjith is one noticable director who is also assistant to Tamil Movie Director Venkat Prabhu. Pa.Ranjith starts his career in movie Attakathi in 2012 gets a appreciation . In 2014 release Madras made him popular and made him to direct RajiniKanth in movie Kabali in his very 3rd film. Not only him  Music Director Sandhosh Narayanan also introduced with him in same movie Attakathi. Now Sandosh Narayanan become most wanted music director of kollywood now he works with every lead actors. His combination with Tamil Director Karthik Subburaj , Pa.Ranjith, Nalan Kumarasamy becomes a musical hit.

Kolavery hit guy Tamil Music Director Anirudh also debuted in 3 in 2012. He reached a great height from his first movie itself. In 4 years he got most fans for his music. Another Hit Actor  Actor Shiva Karthikeyan got his first chance in Movie Marina at 2012. In 2 years he reached a new height by continues hit movies which is attracted by family audience.

The coincidence is above talents are debuted in same year 2012. In 4 years now there are creating a new templates in tamil movies. If there every templates are accepted by audiance sure these talents will rule the Kollywood for some years. We cant say no revolution will happen in upcoming years but untill that happen the new revolution created in Tamil Cinema at 2012 will rule the hearts of Tamil Cinema Fans.
