Tell us about Tamil movie Kashmora Story line?

There is a big travel in the story of Kashmora that the story travels from the present to historical days with the flavours of Ghost, Thriller, fantasy. Kashmora is not a serious movie as it has a lot of comedy elements in it.  Karthi has acted in three roles in this movie and there are 3 dimensions for the role of Kashmora in this movie, so the acting of  Karthi in Tamil movie Kashmora will be recognized well and good.

The role of Sri Divya in Tamil movie Kashmora is a modern girl who is researching about Witch Craft, billy. The role of  Nayantara in Tamil movie Kashmora is a princess of a Kingdom, that Nayantara has never done a role like this before in her acting career. Tamil actress Nayantara has set up for this role with the perfect look, arrogance, posture etc., and actress Sri Divya has performed well with good comedy in this movie.

What are the troubles you faced as a director to finish up such a big budget movie?

Nayantara in Kashmora

Budget of a movie is decided by the script of the movie only. I did not have to commit such a big budget for my previous movie Idharku Thaane Aasai Pattai Bala Kumara like the budget committed for Tamil movie Kashmora. For me, Story of a movie is not for budget, but the budget shall be for story and its script. I did not have any struggle to manage big budget movie, because I planned well ahead as the script demanded big budget.

Question to Tamil movie Kashmora director Gokul:

How much effort you had to take for Tamil movie Kasmora?

We did demo for the graphics and animations of the movie with required plans and the same have been filmed. There are war scenes in the movie with 10 feet trenches, 50 horses etc., These horses passing on trenches scenes can not be shoot in those places. So we did all those scenes with animation and graphics. It tool 8 months for us to determine the costumes of those historical scenes. When I finished the story line, I went to art director Rajeevan and discussed about for scenes we can go for graphics and for which scenes no need of graphics and decided them well ahead of starting the movie. Even though there is only 30 minutes of historical scenes in this movie, the work we put for those scenes considerably the effort for a movie.

Do you get nervous when comparing Kashmora with Bahubali 2 ( Tamil )?

I feel happy when Kashmora gets compared with Bahubali 2 ( Tamil ) at the same time, the same comparison gives me fear. Because Bahubali 2 ( Tamil ) is a complete historical movie, and the budget of Kashmora is just 1 forth of the whole budget of Bahubali 2 ( Tamil ). Kashmora has only a small part of it has historical scenes. Director of Tamil movie Bahubali 2 Raja Mouli has taken the movie Bahubali to a special place in Indian Cinema. I have the thought of reaching at least half path of him.

You mentioned that the Assistant directors of this movie are the important technicians of this movie. Why?

Answer from Tamil movie Kashmora director Gokul:

The work of Assistant directors is there from the story discussion to verifying whether the movie is screened on all  the important theaters or not. All other technicians will come to the shooting spot only when the shooting begins and will leave when the shooting finishes. But there is no such working time for the assistant directors. Assistant directors are the only reason if we have taken this movie up to this level.The work of assistant directors is in all the departments of this movie.

You did movies with action story and then a complete story, now a historical one, what is your wish? what kind of director you want to be?

Answer from Tamil movie Kashmora director Gokul:

I wish to become as a director who can not be predicted. Let my movies to determine what kind of director I am becoming. In the movie Rowthram, touched action journey, then comedy in Idharku thane aasai pattai bala kumara and now we have touched all these three factors ( Action, Comedy and historical ). When I write a script, I should feel that it is Super. Only if I feel so, people will like it. I have been trying to do some thing new in my all movies.

Question to Tamil movie Kashmora director Gokul:

There are some gossips get released when a movie releases, that it is a copy from some other movies. What is your opinion about this?

Answer from Tamil movie Kashmora director Gokul:

My big plus is that none of the scenes from my previous 2 movies are not copied from any movies and so this movie ( Kashmora ) also. What ever it is, it should be mine - this is what my thought is. My previous movie, Idharku Thaane Aasai Pattai Bala Kumara is a Hit movie. I could have done a similar movie in 6 months of time and gone for shooting. But I did no do that. I would say strongly that any scene from any other movie will not be in my movies. I have been running behind my identity. I do not need any one's identity.
