Tamil movie Endhiran 2 Overview:
The date December 12, Thalaivar Rajnikanth birthday, has every reason to be celebrated as a festival for all the die-hard fans of Thalaivar Superstar Rajnikanth. But here comes yet another reason for all his fans to rejoice over. Yes, the much hyped film Endhiran 2 is slated to kick start on this day, which is on his birthday.
Endhiran 2 is a sequel to the blockbuster movie of Endhiran which was released in 2010. The talks about this film started surfacing since Tamil movie I audio launch, when Arnold came to India to release the audio. Later when Tamil cinema director Shankar narrated the story line of Endhiran 2 to Arnold, he was satisfied with the storyline that he accepted to be a part of the film. He is going to be paid a whooping amount of US$15 million (which is 100 crores) for 30 days of shoot. The film is said to have a huge budget of 300 crores.
There were speculations that director Shankar tried to rope in actor Aamir Khan in this huge project. Shankar also approached him with the story line but Aamir Khan refused to accept the invite sighting other movie commitments. Later it was speculated that Vikram will be doing that part and will be having an important role in the film.
The latest update on the interesting cast of the film is that, it includes Superstar Rajnikanth as the main lead, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the villain, Amy Jackson as the female lead, the music being scored by Oscar hero Tamil cinema music director A.R.Rahman. But the latest developments reveal that the film will be produced by LYCA productions, which was posted by the creative head of the company in social networking website.
According to the sources, the film’s Pooja is slated to happen on Thalaivar’s birthday and a huge set is going to be erected for the shoot of the film, in the outskirts of the city. In recent times, there has been a lot of buzz on his next film Kabali. The shooting of the film which was taking place in Malaysia, received huge fan following for Thalaivar where ever the shoot was planned and the Kabali team found it very difficult for shooting amidst the huge fan base of Thalaivar - Tamil actor Rajnikanth.
In spite of facing many difficulties, the team has concluded the schedule and has returned to Chennai. Thalaivar, who is already in town from the shoot, has already left to London with director Shankar for his story discussions with the Terminator actor himself, Arnold and also for the costume preparation works for Endhiran 2. Director Shankar, who has already started the pre-production works for the film has employed record number of assistants for this film. He has selected twentyseven assistant directors and ten production executives to work for this film. After returning from London, the team of Endhiran 2 is going to kick start the technical pre-production works of the film for this three year project.
Hope the years to come will be a treat for both the die-hard Thalaivar fans and for the movie distributors since there are next to next releases of his most favorite star waiting for them.
