Question to Aishwarya Rajesh:
What about the appreciations you got after the release of Tamil movie Kaaka Muttai?
Answer from Aishwarya Rajesh:
Even after the result of the movie was so positive and the ticket collection was so high too, there was no appreciations to me as most of them did not recognize that the mother role has been done by me ( Aishwarya Rajesh ). Even I did not get any single phone call. So, I called the director of Tamil movie Kaaka Muttai, Mani kandan with crying tone that the things are going like how just you said, no appreciation for me and my career is gone. He replied and asked me to be waiting for some more while and I did. After some time, the fans started Social networking that they got my photos from my previous movies like, Rummy, Atta Kathi etc and commented that there is no great resemblance with my appearance in my previous movies and the movie Kaakka Muttai.
Question to Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh:
Did the director revealed that you will have to act in the mother character in Tamil movie Kaaka Muttai?
Answer by Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh:
No. The director did not reveal that it was a role of mother. If he had told, I would not have acted in that role itself. Also, that was a role of mother of two children who are around age of 10, so I would not have accepted for that role. The only reason behind my acceptance of this role was the banner, that the movie was produced by Dhanush and Vetri Maaran. Another factor helped me to get into that movie was my fluency in Tamil, that the role demanded an actress who talks in Tamil well. The way how Manikandan explained me the role added respect on him and the same gave me confidence is well. When he explained the story, he said I will do a risk in this movie, either the movie will hit a sixer or make us out of field. At the same time, he clearly explained that to act in this movie will be shoot in the place where this story goes on and I will have to act in weird environment where the smells can kill the smelling sense of the noses and the same kind of challenge I was expecting. After I accept the role, the director tested my tolerance with that weird location works, only after that he started trusting me and he did not force me anything else for the output. He is great indeed.
Question to Aishwarya Rajesh:
Which is the toughest scene for you in the movie Kaaka Muttai?
Answer by Aishwarya Rajesh:
I saw the happy life of slum people even though they are living in a dirty place. After that I did not feel difficulties in any scene in Kaaka Muttai. The actors, who acted as Chinna Kaaka Muttai and Peria Kaaka muttai the sons of me in the film did not act in this movie, instead they lived their normal life in front of the camera. The granny who acted in that movie also the same like those child artists. As I accepted acting with love, I also did not feel any scenes as tough in the movie Kaaka Muttai. The whole unit of the movie were waiting for the dog to sleep when we had to take the shots of sleeping family with that dog. In short the movie Kaaka Muttai was a school for acting for me.
Also Aishwarya Rajesh added that, she wished to tell in this interview that he had to act by walking inside of Koovam rever of Chennai in the climax of Tamil movie Kaaka muttai in which she goes in search of the Chinna Kaaka Muttai and Peria Kaaka Muttai. She had felt high odor filled her nose and she wondered how these slum people are living in a place like that their whole life. When Aishwarya Rajesh talked with those slum people, she had known that the life threatening diseases like Malayria and Dengue will come every rainy season and take the life of several children of slum. Aishwarya Rajesh shared her sad feeling for those slum people life in this interview.

How you managed to talk the Chennai Tamil slang in the movie?
Answer from Aishwarya Rajesh:
The director of the Tamil movei Kaaka Muttai was so adamant that my character must talk in Chennai slang Tamil. As I was talking the whole 6 months of shooting only in Chennai Tamil, I managed to talk with Chennai slang during the dubbing works. Additionally, as I was born in Chennai and brought up here in Chennai, it was not so tough for me to talk in Chennai Tamil slang.
