Kakki Sattai - Story:
The core story of Kakki Sattai is about the Human Organ Trading which is an illegal business. The movie starts with a short clue about the villain and then the movie goes to a mass introduction to the hero of the movie Siva Karthikeyan who is a police man. Then the movie going on with some comedy sequences in the combination of Tamil actor Siva Karthikeyan and comedy actor Imman Annachi and some love scenes between Siva Karthikeyan and Sri Divya
In the first half of the movie, Tamil actor Prabu who comes as the Inspector of the police station in which Siva Karthikeyan works as a constable being as the example of the situation of many present police Inspectors that Prabu has been doing his inspector job by consoling himself and doing in favor of the criminals, but at the same time he has been helping the affected people. At a situation, police captures 5 kg of gold, Prabu gives 4 kg of gold to a man who did not lose the money, and the remaining gold to the actual people who have lost gold and given complaints to Prabu earlier which is an indirect way of doing his inspector work.
At one stage, Siva Karthikeyan gets angry on Prabu and shouts with anger that Prabu is not a fit Police officer. For that Prabu asks Siva Karthikeyan to get a big criminal case which strikes as a electrical shock. So at the interval block of Tamil movie Kakki Sattai, Siva Karthikeyan finds the case related with the human organs trading that a gang under the don namely Durai that he plans as follows: A man on bike strikes on any kid who is working in Chennai coming from North India. Soon after the bike hits the kid, an ambulance comes to the spot without anyone calls and informs. The kid is being given Corbon monoxide ( CO ) inside the ambulance in the way between the accident spot and the hospital. In the hospital, durai has a known doctor to announce that the kid is brain dead and removes all the body organs of the kid and selling to the human organ needy.
The climax of Kakki Sattai tells us how the constable hero Siva Karthikeyan faces the challenges in this criminal case which gives shock to the police from many direction like, politcians, media and from the police superiors of the police constables too.
Kakki Sattai - Complete Review:
The actor Siva Karthikeyan has done his maximum level of acting performance in this movie that he has made his next attempt on taking the next step from his previous movies that he was doing the movies with comedy scripts like Maan Karate, Varutha Padadha Vaalibar sangam and his other movies and this time he has moved to the script which has both, comedy scenes and also action scenes too. So as a performer he has gone to his next level is well.
The role of Sri Divya in this movie is the heroin role of an action based commercial movie. The story of this movie gets moved with the presence of Sri Divya and also, in the climax, villain is getting vanished by Siva Karthikeyan with only help of Sri Divya as she has done Nurse role in this movie.
The comedian Imman Annachi can be said as one of the best combinations of comedians with Siva Karthikeyan. The villain actor of this movie is with tall appearance and some of the dialogue deliveries of this villain actor is resembling with the Tamil cinema villain actor Ragu varan. The music of this movie is the back bone of this movie. The music of Anirudh Ravi Chander is not only good in the songs but also the back ground music is outstanding.
When we see the over all direction, it could have been better as the movie story is not going on with a grip on the core story. The story is going on with the comedy script for few minutes and then the movie goes to the serious scenes and then the movie gets back to the comedy scenes again. This thing is causing the audience not to be sticky with the core story and not to have a steady mind set either to see the movie as a comedy movie or to have the mind set of watching an action movie.
So overall, the movie can be a good entertainer for sure and partially satisfying the audience who are coming into the theater with expectations on a normal Siva Karthikeyan movie.
