We the audience of Tamil cinema would have definitely got excited by seeing the movies of Tamil cinema director Hari that they are with very high speed, blasting dialogues and laughters with color full video songs etc., So here we have the complete interview of  Director Hari talking generally about his movies and his experiences.

Question to  Director Hari?

When did you understand that, the movie with action and entertainment is your perfect route in Tamil cinema?

Answer from  Director Hari:



When I was working as an assistant director I had a deep thought about which kind of movies will last long in Tamil cinema industry. Then the movies of director K S Ravi Chandran were releasing and all of them were getting super hit. Then only I understood that the movies must be not only entertaining but also the movies must be around the family also. Then I planned for making the movies with the perfect mix of family, action and entertainment.

Question to Director Hari:

Your movies are with interesting first half and the second half without much iteresting ??

Answer from Director Hari:

The heroes of my movie are very normal person and he is angry person. Those normal hero can solve his own problems only first and he can not go for solving the Indian army problems or to go for killing the terrorists. My thought is to take the very small story and deal the story with nice strong screen play. When the movie goes like, battle between one on one, then only there can be strong dialogues and this is the thing typical Hari movie.

Question to Director Hari:

Your movies are very interesting when we are watching them in the cinema theaters. But the songs and comedies of your movies are looking like the speed breakers for your movies when we are watching them second and third time in TV's. So, Can't you take complete action movies without songs and comedies?

Answer from Director Hari:

There will be a lot of varieties in the Banquet Meals and we can not taste all the varieties of the banquet meals. So it is not possible to make the meals for individual tastes. So Hari movies are simply like Banquet meals and you can get everything here and you can get what ever you like and leave the unlikes. The movies like Kurudhi Punal are like how you are mentioning here, but I can not take such movies.

Question to Director Hari:

How are you writing the aggressive and more detailed dialogues for your movies?

Answer from Director Hari:

 Dialogues are like soul for my stories; only the dialogues are making affects on the audience. We are giving importance to the dialogues just how we are giving importance to the first copy of the movie. We can make the perfect dialogues only if we reach the bottom heart of the character when it is uttering those dialogues. One more thing is that I am not writing dialogues for my movies. I do only speak the dialogues on the spot and those dialogues are getting written for my movies. I think that is the reason why the dialogues are giving more strength to my movies.

Question to Director Hari:

In the Singam movie, the dialogue of "He would have died with the two bullet shoots and at the time of third bullet travel; do you think that the audience can understand these dialogues having the speed of the movie behind?

Answer from Director Hari:

I am writing the dialogues for my movies only by sitting in my home. My dialogues are like, don't want third dosa and I want only 2 dosa.

Question to Director Hari:

 Surya acted as a police in Tamil movie Kaaka Kaakha and he did the same role in Singam and singam 2 also. But it looks Singam movies having more sound??

Answer from Director Hari:

You will understand about the sounds only if you come across problems. You will get angry if any one is creating problem to you when you are going in bike or car. At the same time, if anyone catches the shirt of your dad, then your angry will get raise. So the sounds are getting determined by the situation and that's how my heroes will be too.

Question to Director Hari

We got this question as you are a director of producers. You have directed 13 number of movies in total. You have any idea of producing any movie in future?

I could do the directing works only because I am the producer's director. I will not be able to direct movies if I become the producer too. My work is direction only and I can not do directing works. Already I have been making calculations as if I am the producer. If I have become the producer, then I will be doing the calculating works only.

Question to Director Hari:

You are so fast is okay. But how are your heroes and cinematographers are doing fast works?

Answer from Director Hari:

It is Unpleasantness; horrible and it is punishment for them and only who knows that the shooting field of Hari movies are just like war field only come to work in my movies. There will be no problems if the one who comes to work with me is prepared for the fast works already. The passenger who travels in a train without a ticket will have the mind set of reaching the destination by doing anything and by tolerating any thing. In the same way, my artists and workers are coming with the same mind set to work with me.

Question to Director Hari:

You have not directed Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Vijay and Ajith and also you have not directed the new faces!!

Answer from Director Hari:

I have not got the chances to work with Rajni / Kamal  / Vijay / Ajith. I will work with them definitely if I get the chance to work with them. To make the movies with new faces, we should have perfect stories and I dont take such story pack movies. So I can not make movies with new faces.

Question to Director Hari:

Your movies are getting remade into other languages. Rather you yourself can do those movies in other languages!!

Answer from Director Hari:

I have been getting committed with the continuous movies in Tamil language itself. I have got committed with a Surya sir movie soon after finishing the Tamil movie Poojai We can not take the movie Poojai in Hindi even if we think of doing the movie in that language.

Answer from Director Hari:

Not yet decided.

Question to Director Hari:

How have you got dates of  Surya without deciding the story?

Answer from Director Hari:

We ( Director Hari and  Surya ) have talked many stories in between us and only 2 or 3 weeks enough to decide one story among those stories.
