The movie starts with the scenes showing the character of Atharva in this movie that he is following each and every road traffic rules. On the other hand the love story of Atharva and Priya Anand begins and runs parallel, In between some comedy scenes are coming. At a stage, Priya Anand recommends Atharva to have a stunning stylish bike and he owns it. Then he starts participating in some races on the ECR road of Chennai. Even many are criticizing about his character of following all the road traffic rues, he does not bother and keeps going on his way.
When the movie goes with comedy and love scenes, all of a sudden the villain of the movie Johny kidnaps Priya Anand before the interval time of the movie. Then at the second half of the film, Atharva goes in search of Priya Anand. The remaining story of Tamil movie Irumbu Kuthirai is what happened to Priya Anand who was kidnapped by the villain and there is a twist happens with the bike which was bought by Atharva in this movie.
Atharva has done very hard work for this movie that he has made six pack abdomen and in the bike racing scenes he has made his score. Priya Anand has been shown in the scenes and songs of this movie. The villain of this movie has come back to Tamil movie after a huge break that he acted in Tamil movie 7m arivu before. Music is a power for this movie especilaly during the bike race scenes. One single thing is that the screen play might have been better. Otherwise the movie Irumbu Kuthirai is a worth watching movie in theaters. One thing I am very sure that the bike racing scenes have been pictured fabulously and we the audience can enjoy those scenes watching only if we go Cinema theaters not in CD / DVD.
