The sister of Tamil actress Sri Divya has acted in the movie namely 1940 Lo oka Gramam in which the hero role was done by Bala Aditya under the direction of Narasimma Nandi.

The debut movie of Sri Divya was in Telugu movie as a child actress when she was in the age of 3. Sri Divya acted consecutively 10 movies in Telugu movie as a child artist.Then she acted in some Television serials in the language of Telugu. Then Sri Divya made her debut as a heroin in the year 2010 in a Telugu movie namely Manasara which was directed by Ravi Babu. Even though the movie was under a normal banner, it did not do well with Box office. The second movie of Sri Divya was also in the Telugu cinema Industry namely Bus Stop under the direction of Maruti in which the main male role was done by Prince, but this movie did good with the box office collection. Then the third Telugu movie was also in Telugu with the title Mallela Theeram Lo Srimalle Puuvu. In the movie Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Puuvu Sri Divya acted as a lonely house wife who is falling in love with a writer and the whole story of the movie was around this chapter. The appearance of Sri Divya in this gave a great name for Sri Divya as a good looking actress among the audience and the same movie gave appreciation to her for her acting performance too.

The very first movie of Sri Divya in Tamil cinema is Varutha padadha Vaalibar sangam with her co actor Siva Karthi Keyan. This movie was directed by Pon Ram. The role of Sri Divya in the movie Varutha Padadha Vaalibar Sangam is a school girl who is born and brought up in a village where love is looking as a sin. The story of the movie is just around the character of Sri Divya and the hero.
