Naiyaandi is released at 11th October 2013 around the world, in which Dhanush has done the leading male role and Tamil actress Nazriya Nazim has done the female lead role in this movie.
Prior to the release of Naiyaandi, there were a high controversy created by the actress Nazriya Nazim - Hot scenes in Naiyaandi. Nazriya had gone to the Chennai police commissioner to file a complaint against the Naiyaandi film director Mr. Sarkunam, saying there were 3 number of hot scenes taken by body doubling for Nazriya in this movie. After creating heat in the media, there were some hot scenes of Nazriya were removed from the movie and released in the big screens.
Now, due to the controversy of Nazriya, there was a high expectation created among the Tamil cinema audience for seeing the movie and find out if any other mistakes still existing with the movie. Of course the primary reason for expectation on this movie was because of the casts including Dhanush.

The movie starts with a nice introduction scene for Dhanush. Dhanush's character is a careless youngster who has two number of unmarried brothers ( Sriman and Sathyan ). Dhanush spends more time only with his friend Soori. Later on Dhanush fells in love with Nazriya who is a dental doctor in his own town.After many comic scenes, Nazriya also fells in live with Dhanush back and they getting married together and goes back to their respective home as if not married. At the same time the brothers of Dhanush also exposing their love to Nazriya. With this kind of embarrassed scenes, the movie moves towards the climax and whether Dhanush and Nazriya marrying in front of the whole town or not is the remaining story of the Tamil movie Naiyaandi.
