Story of Muppoluthum un karpanaigal:
Atharva was born in the town Tiruvalanchuli. He loses his father at a young age and growing up with his mother. Atharva gets his job in Chennai and goes to Bangalore regarding his job. Atharva finds Amala Paul as his colleague in Bangalore office. In the meantime, Atharva's mother also passes away. Amala Paul compromises Atharva at that time. Then Atharva starts to love Amala Paul.
In this situation, Amala Paul moves to America. Atharva misunderstands that Amala Paul was kidnapped by someone. Atharva thinks about Amala Paul for the whole time. After a few days, Amala Paul returns to India. Atharva works at Chennai office for five days and he spends his weekends with Amala Paul in Bangalore.
After some days Amala Paul comes as superintendent of Atharva's Chennai office. Atharva didn't give any reaction by looking Amala Paul. She comes to know that Atharva has some psychological problem. The remaining movie is about finding the problem of Atharva and how she cures him. Amala Paul searches for the reason, Why Atharva did not give any reaction at the Chennai office. There will be no link between the Movie title and the Movie story. This movie has the story as its title. The main disadvantage of this movie is that we can assume what will be the next scene. Atharva acted well in love scenes, fight scenes, and sentiment scenes but he failed in delivering the dialogues. It seems that he speaks Hindi slang.
Amala Paul appears only in a few scenes but those are strong scenes. Her love scenes are admirable. G.V. Prakash did a great job in music. The lyrics of the song were compatible with the movie.
This kind of story has come in Tamil cinema already, but this movie has a different screenplay. This movie confuses the audience for the first time.

The hero of the movie, Adharva - a Software Engineer, working in a Chennai company. He gets a love proposal from a colleague of his in the first scene. But he refuses her proposal and flies on wheels to Bangaluru city on the weekends. There he meets, Amala Paul named Charu, and spends his weekend with her in bed. Suddenly he goes to a strange place and kills a guy.
