Karikalan in Trouble
Karikalan is facing some problems and the post-production of the movie is in trouble to some problems.
The studio Silver Line Film Factory is confirming that the movie will be released within the given period.
The problem is a person named Rajashekar from Porur of Chennai is climbing that Karikalan Movie story and the title belongs to him and he is the owner of the story. Mr. Rajashekar registered a case in Chennai court against the producer, director, and actor Vikram.
An Interview with Karikalan Producer
In an interview, about this case, Producer Pathiban and Vaasan said that they are ready to face the case honestly registered by Rajasekhar. They also added that the movie Karikalan is in progress with relevant documents registration. The story of Karikalan film was officially registered in Society and also in the name of the movie producer. He also added that after confirmation of the registration, Karikalan Tamil Movie work was started.
As Directors and producers of the film, we must meet the case. It is absolutely immoral to add actor Vikram in this case. The action of Rajasheker against actor Vikram may lead to mental stress and damage his popularity, and reputation among the audience. Karikalan unit is consulting to file a defamation lawsuit against Rajasekhar. The case is pending and the unit is ready to face the problem genuinely and fight for this with honesty. Finally, Karikalan will come surely, he said.
Update in February 2017 :
After all these happenings, the movie works resumed in March 2017 changing the director from L I Kannan to AR Gandhikrishna who is the owner of the actual story.
The storyline of the movie is based on Karikaalan building the first dam in India and so it involved a lot of Computer Graphics work. The crew is just waiting for actor Vikram as he is busy in the shoots other movies.
