Death of Vivek:

Vivek was admitted in a private hospital after he got fainted. In the hospital, it was reported that he has got a heart attack and it was announced that he is dead on 17 April 2021. 

On his last journey, saplings were carried along with his body to represent his valuable service in taking care of nature by planting numerous tree saplings. 

Military respect was given to the dead body of Vivek before the funeral. 

The funeral was done by his younger daughter. 

Celebrities, Vikram, Surya, Karthi, Director Shankar, Vijay Sethupathy, Actress Jothika, and many others took part in the last journey of Vivek.
