Rajesh is a skilled director in Tamil cinema who makes cinemas based on the comedy genre. His preceding movies SMS and Boss Engira Baskaran received positive reviews from the audience. Now he tried his ingredients in the upcoming movie Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. Udhayanidhi Stalin and Hansika Motwali were starring in this movie. Comedy screens were composed by Santhanam as usual. This time for a change Harris Jeyaraj performed the music for OKOK. The title of this movie was retrieved from the Siva Manasula Sakthi movie song Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.

Story of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi:
Director Rajesh took the same concept as before (i.e.)love plus comedy. This movie was just like Boss Engira Baskaran with a slight exchange of characters. Let me come to the story of OKOK. Udhayanidhi Stalin works as an usher (door boy) and Santhanam works in the canteen at Sathyam cinema. Udhayanidhi Stalin was attracted by Hansika Motwani and he wanted to love her. But Hanshika rejected Udhayanidhi Stalin at first and later she loves him. Then this pair gets separated and is united by the guest role Arya.
Watch this movie in the theater how they loved each other and how they got separated.
Review of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi:
Santhanam was the backbone of this movie. In one interview Rajesh said, My movie can be without heroin but not without Santhanam. He proved the words of Rajesh in this movie too. Santhanam's scenes were filled with loud laughter in the theater. It is good to say Santhanam is the hero of the movie.
Udhayanidhi Stalin started his journey as an actor through this movie. There is not much acting required for his role but he has done his best. He delivered decent acting.
Hanshika Motwali acted well when compared to other movies. She has done a rich girl role in this movie. Hanshika already resembles a rich girl so, this suits her character perfectly.
I don't know what to comment about this movie. As said before this movie same as the previous movie by this director. The Climax of this movie ended with the guest roles of Arya and Andrea. The movie was good but the same. I think Director Rajesh can quit directing movies and instead, he can start direct Lollu Shaba with Santhanam. We should appreciate for his humor sense. All the comedy was new and good to make us decent laugh.
