Taapsie was born in the year 1987 at the place, New Delhi. Even though she born in Delhi, the family of Taapsee is from Punjab. Here, I have an interesting matter about Taapsee, that the sister of this actress has the thought of entering the Cinema industry in near future. Name of her sister is Shagun Pannu. The schooling of Taapsee was in Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology which is in New Delhi. As Taapse studied the Computer Science, she worked in a Software company in the beginning. While working as a Software Engineer, she has developed in some latest technologies in iPhone. Then she started acting as a model in one of the famous TV channels of India, Channel V. In the long career of modeling, Tapsee acted in many commercial shows and ads and exposed her beautiful modeling and talent by participating in modeling. Not only just participating, but Tapsee has won some awards also for doing modeling.

Followed by her first movie, she came to the Tamil cinemas by the movie Aadukalam in which Tamil actor Dhanush and for the same movie, Danush got the National award for best actiong. This thing was elaborately spoken around Tamilnadu, by that the movie and video songs of this movie were Super hit.
The role of Tapsee in the movie Aadukalam was an anglo Indian girl pairing with Tamil actor Dhanush. The casual acting of Tapsee in this movie was great and the same was recognized by the Tamil cinema audience well and good. As the story of the movie was a very casual town based one, the characters were also had been stretched similarly and the acting performance of actress Tapsee was resembling exactly with her role in that movie.
