Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren Review:
There is a mob of casts have been roped in for this movie and they are suitable for their corresponding roles too. Some of them are rare too, that many characters who have acted in Tamil movie Naduvula konjam pakkatha kaanom have acted in this movie after a long time. All of their characters have been justified them well and good. Vijay Sethupathy role is the main focus all over the movie and he has carried it good as usual. But the scope for acting is not so strong in this movie for him as he has to be maintaining the character's weight throughout the movie. The location and its back story of this movie is totally new / weird for Tamil cinema.
The character of Gautham Karthik in ONNPS is an young boy with full of fun and spirit. Also he has done his role with a lot of face expressions and body language, even though he has not fit as perfect as Vijay Sethupathy role, this movie has expressed the huge improvement with Gautham Karthik acting comparing with his previous movies.
Acting of Viji Chandrasekar who the role of Mother of Vijay Sethupathy has done is attracting the screen in most of the scenes where she does appear. Heroin of the movie NIharika has also done a well and good performance even though this is her debut movie in Tamil. As the base story of the movie depends on comedy, there are number of comedians present in this movie like, RJ Tilak, Raj Kumar, Daniel have done the comedian role in major part of the movie.
Justin Prabakar has done good work with the back ground score of the movie. The whole set up of the village namely Eme Singha Puram is realistic and all the art works have been done for that set up are good and given good color for the movie.
Director of the movie has taken this movie holding comedy in all the scenes of the movie with a totally different story, and the same has worked out too in many scenes. Even though there is no strong situations in the screenplay of this movie, as this is a comedy based movie, it did not affect our mood as audience when watching the movie.
This is not just a movie with comedy, but it carries a strong and good love through out the movie and also the climax of the movie has a good twist.
Over all - ONNPS is good entertaining movie to watch with family / friends in theater.
